5:10 PM – India lose their Semi-final against Argentina 2-1. They will now take on Great Britain for a Bronze on Friday.
3:50 PM – Anshu Malik is into the Repechage round. She still has a shot at Bronze through Repechage tomorrow. She needs to win 2 matches for a Bronze.
3:25 PM – Deepak Punia lost his SF against American wrestler Taylor. Deepak will now contest for Bronze tomorrow
3 PM – Ravi Kumar Dahiya enters Finals of Men’s 57 kg freestyle wrestling.
12:40 PM – Golf – After 1st round, Aditi Ashok is tied 2nd with a -4 score. Diksha Dagar is tied 56th with a +5 score.
11:20 AM – Lovlina Borgohain wins Bronze.
9:55 AM – We are going to have a very busy day today!
9:45 AM – Both Deepak Punia and Ravi Dahiya reach Semis.
9:10 AM – Deepak Punia enters QF of Men’s 86 kg freestyle wrestling.
8:40 AM – Wrestling – Anshu Malik goes dow fighting in her Round of 16 bout to 3rd seed Iryna 8-2. She will now wait for Iryna’s result for a repechage change.
8:30 AM – Ravi Kumar Dahiya is into the QF of Men’s 57 kg freestyle. He won his round of 16 match against Colombian Wrestler Oscar 13-2.
8:15 AM – We start the day with some very good news. Neeraj Chopra has qualified for the final of Men’s Javelin throw. He topped the qualification with a 86.65m throw. Shivpal Singh finished 27th with a throw of 76.4m and failed to qualify for final.
