Sports Calendar: July 2023

Another exciting month of Sports action lined up in July. Here are the events to watch:

Cricket:

India will start it 2025 World Test Championship campaign in West Indies. India will play 2 Tests, 3 ODIs and 5 T20s on the Tour.

Test Series: 1st Test – 12-17 July | 2nd Test – 20-25 July
ODI Series: 1st ODI – 27 July | 2nd ODI – 29 July | 3rd ODI – 1 Aug

Indian Women’s team will be back in action in July. They will tour Bangladesh for 3 T20s and 3 ODIs.

T20 Series: 9 July, 11 July, 13 July

ODI Series: 16 July, 19 July, 22 July

Badminton:

4 tournaments are scheduled on the BWF World Tour:

Canada Open (BWF 500): 4-9 July

US Open (BWF 300): 11-16 July

Korea Open (BWF 500): 18-23 July

Japan Open (BWF 750): 25-30 July

Table Tennis:

WTT Star Contender Slovenia will take place between 3-9 July.

Tennis:

The 3rd Grand Slam of the year takes places in London. Top Indian Doubles players will be in action.

Wimbledon: 3-16 July

Athletics:

The Olympic qualification cycle for Track & Field events start on 1st July. You can check Athletics qualification system for Paris Olympics here.

The big Athletics event in July is Asian Athletics Championship.

2023 Asian Athletics Championship – Thailand: 12-16 July

5 Diamond League meetings are scheduled in July:

2 July: Stockholm
16 July: Poland
21 July: Monaco
23 July: London
29 July: Shanghai

Archery:

World Archery Championships takes place in Germany from 31st July. This is Paris Olympic qualification event.

Golf:

There are Majors lined up across Men and Women Golf in July.

20-23 July: The Open Championship – 4th Men’s Golf Major of 2023

6-9 July: US Open – 3rd Women’s Golf Major of 2023: Aditi Ashok is in the field

20-23 July: Evian Championship – 4th Women’s Golf Major of 2023

Shooting:

ISSF Shotgun World Cup is scheduled between 10-16 July in Italy.

Fencing:

World Fencing Championships 2023 takes place in Milan, Italy between 22-30 July.

Aquatics:

2023 World Aquatics Championships takes place in Japan between 14-30 July.

Hockey:

Both Indian Men’s & Women’s team will be taking part in 100th Anniversary tournament for Spanish Hockey.

Torneo Del Centenario: 25-30 July

Rowing:

The 3rd Rowing World Cup takes place in Switzerland between 7-9 July.
