Badminton
The 2024 Paris Olympics qualification period kicks-off on 1st May 2023.

2023 Sudirman Cup: 14-21 May. It will take place inSuzhou, China.
India is placed in Group C along with Chinese Taipei, Australia and Malaysia.
Post Sudirman Cup, BWF World Tour will move to Asia.

Table Tennis
2023 Table Tennis World Championship takes place in South Africa between 20-28 May. Here is Indian squad for the Championship.

Men’s Doubles: Sathiyan/Sharath; Manush/Harmeet
Women’s Singles: Manika, Sreeja, Sutirtha and Reeth

Boxing
2023 Men’s World Boxing Championship takes place in Tashkent between 1-14 May.
Tennis
The 2nd Grand Slam of the year, French Open, starts on 28th May.
In the run-up to the French Open, 3 tournaments are scheduled on ATP tour. Indian Men’s Doubles pairs will be in action.

Weightlifting
2023 Asian Weightlifting Championship is scheduled to take place between 3-13 May in Korea. This is a Paris 2024 qualification event and results will be taken into account for qualification ranking.
Judo
2023 World Judo Championships will take place in Doha between 7-14 May. 3 Indian Judokas will take part.

Taekwondo
2023 World Taekwondo Championships will take place in Baku, Azerbaijan between 29 May to 6 June.
Surfing
203 ISA World Surfing Games will take place in El Salvador between 30 May-7 June. This is a Paris 2024 qualification event. India will be represented by 4 surfers: Ajeesh Ali, Sanjay Selvamani, Sivaraj Babu and Ramesh Budihal
Golf
PGA Championship (2nd Golf Major of the year): 18-21 May
Athletics
The 2023 Diamond League kicks-off in May.
5th May – Doha Diamond League
28th May – Morocco Diamond League
Neeraj Chopra, last year’s DIamond League winner in Javelin Throw, will kick start his season in Doha.
Archery
The 2nd Archery World Cup of the year will take place in Shanghai between 16-21 May.
Shooting
2 World Cups are scheduled to take place in May.
Baku Pistol/Rifle World Cup: 10-15 May
Almaty Shotgun World Cup: 20-29 May
Fencing
C.A. Bhavani Devi will be in action at Georgia Sabre World Cup on 12-13 May.
Hockey
Indian Men’s team will travel to England for FIH Pro League matches.

27 May: Great Britian v India
Eventing
Group C Eventing Olympic Qualifier will take place in Poland between 18-21 May. Fouaad Mirza will try to qualify for the Olympic Games in this event.
