We are into the last month of the year.
Before we check what’s lined up in December, here is a quick recap of top achievements by Indian sportspersons in November:
- India wins maiden Women’s ODI World Cup!
- Lakshya Sen won Australian Open (BWF 500).
- Indian shooters put up a fantastic show at World Pistol/Rifle World Championship. They won 6 medals: 1 🥇 3 🥈 2 🥉

Cricket
In Men’s cricket, India will play a 3 ODI & 5 T20 series against South Africa.
ODI Series: 30 Nov, 3 Dec, 6 Dec
T20 Series: 9 Dec, 11 Dec, 14 Dec, 17 Dec and 19 Dec
In Women’s cricket, India is slated to play Sri Lanka in a 5 match T20 series.
5 T20s: Visakhapatnam (Dec 21 & 23), Thiruvananthapuram (Dec 26, 28 & 30).
Table Tennis
2 big events scheduled in Table Tennis:
30 Nov – 7 Dec: ITTF Mixed Team World Cup
10-14 Dec: WTT Finals 2025
Diya & Manush have qualified for WTT Finals in the Mixed Doubles event.

Badminton
17-21 Dec: 2025 BWF World Tour Finals
Satwik/Chirag have qualified for the World Tour finals in Men’s Doubles.
Squash
India will be hosting Squash World Cup between 9-14 December.
Hockey
Indian Men’s Hockey team will be touring South Africa between 1-15 December for a 5 match series.
Fencing
Following events are scheduled in Fencing:
Sabre Grand Prix France: 4-6 Dec
Epee World Cup Canada: 4-7 Dec
Foil World Cup Male Japan: 5-7 Dec
Foil World Cup Female Korea: 5-7 Dec
Boxing
2025 World Men’s Boxing Championsip is scheduled in UAE between 2-13 December.
Track Cycling
India will have its National Track Cycling Championships in Uttarkhand between 19-24 December.
