This week, Indian tennis players will be representing India at Fed Cup and Davis Cup. Here are the details of both the tournaments….
Fed Cup
Indian Women’s tennis team will be playing at the Fed Cup 2020. The Asia/Oceania zone will feature 6 teams. The 6 teams will compete against one another in a group format. Top 2 teams from the group will move to Fed Cup 2021 play-offs while teams finishing 5th & 6th will be relegated to Group 2 for 2021 Fed Cup. The Fed Cup play-offs will take place in April.

Indonesia (6)
When is the tournament? 3-7 March in Dubai
Match format: 2 Singles match followed by a Doubles match.
Team India: Ankita Raina, Riya Bhatia, Rutuja Bhosale, Sowjanya Bavisetti, Sania Mirza
Schedule:
China v India – Tuesday (India lost to China 3-0)
India v Uzbekistan – Wednesday (India beat Uzbekistan 3-0)
India v Korea – Thursday (India beat South Korea 2-1)
Chinese Taipei v India – Friday
India v Indonesia – Saturday
Davis Cup
The Indian Men’s tennis players will be playing in 2020 Davis Cup qualifying round. The winner of the Croatia v India tie will play at the 2020 Davis Cup Finals in November. It is going to be a very tough match for India as Croatia has top-ranked players in their team – Borna Coric, Marin Cilic.
When is the tie? 6-7 March in Zagreb,Croatia
Match format: 4 Singles matches and 1 doubles match.

Match 2: Ramkumar Ramanathan v Marin Cilic
