Sports Calendar: June 2023

Here are the sports events that will keep us glued to our screens in June!


The World Test Championship final takes place in London between 7-11 June.

India v Australia: Oval, London

On the Women’s team front, India will tour Bangalesh for 3 T20s and 3 ODIs. The exact schedule is not released yet.


June is going to be a big month for badminton players. Back to back tournaments are linep up and Olympic qualification ranking points are on offer.

Thailand Open (BWF 500): 30 May-4 June
Singapore Open (BWF 750): 6-11 June
Indonesia Open (BWF 1000): 13-18 June
Taipei Open (BWF 300): 20-25 June

Table Tennis

3 WTT events scheduled in June.

WTT Contender Lagos: 12-18 June
WTT Contender Tunis: 20-25 June
WTT Contender Zagreb: 26 Jun – 2 Jul


It is Grand Slam time for Tennis fans.

French Open: 28 May – 11 June

Post French Open, action will move to the grass courts. Indian Doubles Men’s player will be in action on the ATP Tour.

Stuttgart Open (ATP 250): 12-18 June
Halle Open (ATP 500): 19-25 June
Queen’s Club Championship (ATP 500): 19-25 June
Mallorca Championship (ATP 250): 26 June – 2 July
Eastbourne International (ATP 250): 26 June – 2 July


The 3rd Archery World Cup of the year will take place in Medellin between 13-18 June.


Indian Men’s team will close their 2023 FIH Pro League campiagn.

2 June: India v Belgium
3 June: Great Britain v India
7 June: Netherlands v India
8 June: India v Argentina
10 June: Netherands v India
11 June: India v Argentina

India is currently 2nd on the league table.


2nd Women’s Golf major of the year will take place in June. Aditi Ashok will be in the field.

KPMG Women’s Championship: 22-25 June

On the Men’s tour, 3rd Men’s Golf major takes place.

US Open: 15-18 June

Track Cycling

Asian Track Cycling will take place in Malaysia between 14-19 June.


Massive month for Athletics. 4 Diamond league meetings are scheduled in June.

Itlay Diamond League: 2 June
Paris Diamond League: 9 June
Oslo Diamond League: 15 June
Swiss Diamond League: 30 June


IWF Grand Prix 1 will take place in Cuba between 8-18 June. This is a Paris Olympic qualfication event.


The 2nd Rowing World Cup of the year will take place in Italy between 16-18 June.
