Commonwealth Games 2022
The 22nd edition of Commonwealth Games kick-off in Birmingham on 28th July.

Athletics – World Athletics Championship
The 2022 edition of World Athletics Championship will take place in Oregon, USA between 15-24 July. For the 1st time ever, India will have an Olympic Champion (Neeraj Chopra) entering World Athletics Championship. 13 Indian athletes have already qualified by clearing qualification standard and some more will qualify through world ranking.

Hockey
The 2022 Women’s Hockey World Cup takes place in Spain and Netherlands between 1-17 July.

Fencing – World Fencing Championships
World Fencing Championship will take place between 15-23 July in Cairo, Egypt. Indian fencers will take part across events at the World Championship.
Badminton
The BWF World Tour continues in South East Asia with 3 tournaments lined up.
Malaysia Masters (BWF 500): 5-10 July
Singapore Open (BWF 500): 12-17 July
Taipei Open (BWF 300): 19-24 July
Table Tennis
2 events are scheduled in July.
WTT Star Contender Hungary – 11-17 July
WTT Champions – 18-23 July
In WTT Champions event, only top 32 players will compete and Sathiyan has made the list in Men’s Singles event.
Tennis
The Wimbledon Championships start on 27 June and conclude on 10 July.
Cricket
On the Men’s cricket front, India play the Test match against England. The Test match will be followed by 3 T20 and 3 ODI. Post the England series, Indian team will fly to West Indies for 3 ODIs in July and 5 T20s.

1st T20: 7 July – 10:30 PM
2nd T20: 9 July – 7 PM
3rd T20: 10 July – 7 PM
1st ODI: 12 July – 5:30 PM

India tour of West Indies
1st ODI: 22 July – 7 PM
2nd ODI: 24 July – 7 PM

On the Women’s cricket front, India will complete their tour of Sri Lanka with 3 ODIs. The team will then travel to Engand for the Commonwealth games.
1st ODI: 1 July – 10 AM
2nd ODI: 4 July – 10 AM
3rd ODI: 7 July – 10 AM
Basketball
Asia Cup is scheduled to take place in both the normal format as well as the 3X3 format.
3X3 Asia Cup: Singapore – 6-10 July
Men’s Asia Cup: Indonesia – 12-24 July
Track Cycling
The 3rd Track Nations Cup of the year is going to take place in Cali, Colombia between 7-10 July.
Archery
The 4th Archery World Cup of the year will take place in Medellin, Colombia between 18-24 July.
Shooting
ISSF World Cup will take place in Changwon, Korea between 10-20 July. All 3 events – Rifle, Pistol and Shotgun will take place at this World Cup.
Golf
The 4th and final Men’s major, The Open Championship, will take place at St. Andrews, Scotland between 14-17 July. It is going to be a historic event as it is the 150th edition of The Open Championship.

The 4th Women’s Golf major of the year will take place in France.
Evian Championship – 21-24 July
