- Indian Women’s Football team qualified for 2026 Asia Cup.
- Indian Women’s team beat England in T20 series 3-2 and in ODI series 2-1. A quite successful outing for them in England.

Cricket
The Men’s cricket team will play final test match of the series against England between 31 July – 4 August.
Badminton
The BWF World Championships 2025 is scheduled to take place in France between 25-31 August.
Table Tennis
Lots of action scheduled in Table Tennis:
WTT Star Contender Brazil: 30 Jul – 3 Aug
WTT Champions Yokohama: 7-11 Aug
Europe Smash – Sweden: 14-24 Aug
Shooting
Asian Shooting Championships is scheduled to take place between 16-30 August in Kazakhstan.
Basketball
2025 Men’s Asia Cup is scheduled to take place in Saudi Arabia between 5-17 August.
Hockey
2025 Men’s Asia Cup is scheduled to take place in India between 27 August – 7 September. The winner of this tournament will directly qualify for 2026 Men’s World Cup.
Tennis
The final grand slam of the year will take place between 24 August – 7 September.
Athletics
Following events are scheduled in Diamond League:
16 Aug: Silesia, Poland
20 Aug: Lausanne, Switzerland
22 Aug: Brussels, Belgium
27-29 Aug: Season Finale – Zurich
India Open will take place in Bhubaneshwar on 10th August. It is a World Continental Tour – Bronze level event.
Indian athletes will be gunning for World Athletics Championships qualification.
Golf
The final Women’s Golf major of the year will take place between 31 Jul – 3 Aug in United Kingdom. Aditi Ashok and Diksha Dagar are expected to take part in this competition.
