A New Year is upon us. 2025 starts shortly. Here are key sports events to follow in 2025.
Champions Trophy 2025
The Men’s ODI Champions Trophy is back after 8 years. It takes place between 19 February and 9 March in Pakistan & UAE.
World Table Tennis Championship
The 2025 World Table Tennis Championship will take place in Qatar between 17-25 May.
BWF World Championship
The 2025 BWF Badminton World Championship will take place in France between 25-31 August.
World Archery Championship
The 2025 World Archery Championship will take place between 5-12 September in South Korea.
World Athletics Championship
The 2025 World Athletics Championship takes place in Japan between 13-21 September.
World Wrestling Championship
The 2025 World Wrestling Championship will take place in Croatia between 13-21 September.
2025 ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup
The 2025 edition of Women’s ODI World Cup will take place in India in September.
World Shooting Championship
ISSF 2025 World Shooting Championship will take place in Egypt between 6-16 November.
Lots of World Championships scheduled in 2025. It is also an year where athletes will start their LA 2028 preparations. We should be able to see some qualification systems released for 2028 Olympics during the year.
Diamond League
The 2025 season for Diamond League will take place between 26 April to 28 August across locations in the World.
World Para Athletics Championships
India will be hosting World Para Athletics Championships for the 1st time. It will be held in New Delhi between 26 Sept – 6 Oct.
